Core X-Fit- For the Hardcore Male Fitness Freaks!




Core Direction has launched its Core X-Fit training program specific to the athletic male who’s looking to push through previous boundaries and boarders, experience a completely new level of fitness, increasing muscle endurance, strength and size, leaving them itching for a taste of what’s to come. This 4-week ( 12 sessions in total) extreme program will push you to your absolute boundaries regardless of your fitness level! For those of you brave enough to take up the challenge, a short overview of what’s to be expected throughout the month is detailed below :

· The 1st 5-7 minutes of each session is dedicated to a 1 mile run at your quickest pace.
o In session (1) you’ll be asked to complete your run in under 7 minutes but by session (12) we’ll be asking for 5min30.
· 6km worth of shuttle runs forwards and backwards
· 650 meters worth of truck tyre drag drills
· 400 meters of 20kg weighted lunges
· 550 repetitions of Core plyometeric exercises, partnered, weighted or using your tyre.
· 550 repetitions of Olympic lift combination exercises, partnered, weighted or using your tyre.
· 300 extreme tyre burpies

And if you’re curious about apparatus? Each person gets designated a 15kg tyre, 15kg and 20kg dumbbell, 25 meter rope, cornered off 25 meter run way and a partner whose weight can range anywhere from 70-120kgs.

With a 7:30 PM start to the sessions and classes being limited to a maximum of 12 males, we make sure to reward our committed males who attend all sessions, with a silver, gold, or platinum certificate at the end of the month based on their overall achievement. This is definitely not a program for the faint hearted, but with the weather cool, and the summer beach bodies in the back of everyone’s minds, we expect there to be plenty of focused, dedicated participants in the coming months.

Days & Timings: 7:30 PM every Sunday & Tuesday on the JBR Beachfront (bt. Hilton & Sheraton Hotel).

Cost: 10 sessions for 500 Dhs.

What to bring:
A towel, water bottle and your energy!
